The La Cross 5″ Professional Sapphire File does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s gentle on nails while still being effective at shaping and smoothing, which is something I really appreciate. The sapphire surface feels high quality and doesn’t cause splitting or damage like cheaper files often do.
I especially like the size — it’s easy to control and works well for both quick touch-ups and more detailed shaping. It also feels sturdy and well-made, not flimsy or disposable, which is a big plus.
The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that I wish it came with a protective sleeve or case for storage. Other than that, it’s a solid, reliable nail file that I’d definitely repurchase and recommend for anyone looking for a professional-grade option at home.
